Essilor Vision Foundation under See Now Campaign brings quality eye care services to underserved in Uttar Pradesh
An eye health camp was organized today in Aliganj are of Lucknow today on 20 June 2019. Around 350 people got their eyes checked and those in need were provided with free glasses. Many more people from underserved populations will benefit from similar camps organized in other districts.
As the face of a month-long new See Now campaign launched on 15 June 2019, Shri Amitabh Bachchanis urging residents of five districts in Uttar Pradesh – Unnao, Lucknow, Raebareli, LakhimpurKheri and Sitapur – to get their eyes checked.
To ensure that underserved populations are able to benefit from the campaign, Essilor Vision Foundation, in partnership with The Fred Hollows Foundation, Sightsavers and Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital will organize free eye camps across these five districts to provide them with free eye screenings and eyeglasses.
