Agency.Malaysian police made announcement on Friday that the poison used to kill Kim Jong-nam,the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,was VXnerve agent. The details were made public by Khalid Abu Bakar,the national police chief, in a brief statement to the reporters.Khalid Abu Bakar told that it is listed as a chemical weapon under the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1997 and 2005, to which North Korea is not a party.
Meanwhile South Korea has suggested the hand of North Korean government behind the assassination,a charge that Pyongyang fiercely denies.

The announcement by police chief came a day after N.Korea denied its role in Mr.Kim’s death and accused the Malaysian authorities of fabricating evidence of Pyongyang involvement at the behest of South Korea.
